Product Description

Spherical outer ring ball bearings are essentially a variant of deep groove ball bearings, characterised by their spherical outer ring surface. This allows them to fit into a corresponding concave spherical surface within the bearing housing, thereby achieving self-alignment. Primarily designed to withstand combined radial and axial loads where radial loads predominate, they are generally unsuitable for bearing axial loads alone. Both the inner and outer rings of this bearing type can be mounted separately. These bearings do not permit axial misalignment between the shaft and housing. Under radial loading, they generate additional axial forces and are typically used in conjunction with bearing housings. They are primarily employed in transmission components where alignment is difficult, installation deviations are likely, or shaft deflection occurs.
